# the job board and punch clock for custom trades shops

koda & zumo

Know where every job is, and who's on the clock. Koda tracks each job from measure to install so the office stops chasing updates. Zumo is the crew punch clock that feeds payroll. I'm building both from scratch, start to finish.

The job board

For the office + PMs

Built for shops that make and install custom work. Instead of walking to the whiteboard or calling around, a PM taps one button and the office sees it right away.

↳ marking a job Installed drops it straight into Ready to Invoice

01

One-tap updates

PMs move a job to the next stage in one tap, with an undo if they hit it by mistake.

Today, as a checklist

The dashboard shows what needs doing today in plain English, not a wall of data.

Installs, measures and who's on site, all in one place everyone can check.

Nothing missed at billing

Finished installs line up for invoicing automatically, so nothing slips through.

For the crew

Tap your name. Punch in.

The crew punch clock that replaces paper punch cards.

Crew punch in on the shop iPad or on their phone. They tap their name, enter their PIN, and hit one big button. Blue to punch in, mint to punch out.

The office gets clean hours that are ready for payroll, so nobody has to type them in from a stack of cards.

Their punch card, on their phone.

Crew can check their own hours any time, so there are no surprises on payday.

  • Every in and out for the week, grouped by day, with the total at the bottom.
  • Where each punch happened, shop iPad or on site, right under the time.
  • Lunch handled for them. Long days show the 30 minutes that came off.
  • Missing punches stand out in red, with a button to ask the office for a fix.

Tap a day, or flip to the next week

01

Kiosk or phone

An iPad at the shop door, or a phone on site. Every punch shows where it happened.

02

PIN on every punch

No buddy punching. Each tap needs the crew member's own PIN.

03

Rules built in

Lunch comes off long days on its own, big weeks get flagged, and forgotten punch-outs get caught.

04

Ready for payroll

The office approves and locks the week, then exports the hours instead of re-typing them.
